I know you can put a saturn, dc, ps2, and x-box in a cab but what about other consoles? I looked for a nes and snes but didnt come up with anything. I looked a little for genesis and tg-16 but didnt see anything. If anyone has any links on this subject please post them. Thanks.

You can put any console in a cab, you will have to wire your own Console to JAMMA converter though.
There is a guide on how to make them somewhere on the net. (sorry I forgot the link)

Any console that outputs a good RBG&Sync signal should be able to be hooked up to a standard resolution arcade monitor.

Hacking the controllers is pretty much the same for any console.

If you convert snes, nes or saturn to rgb mode does that mean its automaticaly compatible to an arcade monitor at 15hz. I know where the tutorials are to make them rgb but not sure if it would work. Im still a little confused, I can do the pad hacks thats easy but its the rgb and how it works in frequency comparable to the systems themselves.

Nevermind I found most of the info already. You can do it with any console atari to xbox. I just need to find a good audio amp, vga box is on its way as far as the dreamcast is concerned. Ill be posting more as I go. If anyone has put a dreamcast or a suturn in a mvs 2-slot cab before an can give some advice that would be helpfull. Thanks for the help.

A while back I had running in my NAOMI universal a Gamecube, Dreamcast, Xbox, and PS2 using the X-Arcade BYOA kit and console adapters. I put together a switch box and used a console switch to alternate between the systems. It was really simple to do with the VGA monitor and the BYOA kit without having to hack any pads or do an plugging / unplugging when switching between systems.

I noticed that I ended up playing with the DC (shmups and fighters) that I have since moved on and the only console I have in any cabs are the Dreamcast. One Vertical (shmups) and one horizontal (shmups & fighters)

Most modern consoles you can tap RGB from it with a SCART cable, some consoles require you to RGB mod it, ie bypass an NTSC encoder somwhere, NES will probably be the only impossible one, as far as I know it "draws" directly to NTSC or PAL, from what i have heard, a NES RGB mod is impossible.
