Ive had the silk road pcb for about a year & i reckon its one of those underrated games that people just overlook.
Before taking the decision to buy one last year,i looked at the reviews out on it
and some of them weren't so kind,some were ok,however the thought of ;
Quote:A horizontal fighting game from Unico. Play as one of three different characters - Munmoo, Sochun and Jumuka. Each character has different kinds of attack skills and 20 different kinds of magical attacks. The game contains nine different stages, each with 30 rounds.
kept me interested.the main character designs i must admit were pretty bland,but overall the boss characters and backrounds were drawn ok .silk road was made in 99 ,but you would think its probably made in about the mid nineties with the overall look of it.the music is a tad monotone & repetitive yet is still bearable.
The strong points of this game as quoted above are the magical attacks,different varieties of bosses rpg like choice of paths. AI level is ok but the main feature for me was just to use different magical attacks throughout the game.

Overall ,i think this is a game worth having if you like beat em ups .Ive got quite a lot of beat em ups in my collection and this game adds to the variety factor
btw this game has a sequel which is very rare & therefore makes me take interest. AGE OF HEROES by UNIANA - the new name for unico.looking forward to track this one down
