Samurai Showdown 5 Special fatalities

So I was playing Samurai Showdown 5 SP in mame (I only use mame to test games before I invest) and the version I was playing was incredibly violent. Every match that was fought, someone got sliced in half, or the throat sliced. I'm talkin EVERY TIME. Does this happen in the MVS Samurai Showdown 5 SP or was that an emulator hack? If thats the case I'm buying the MVS version today!!!

Well, there are fatalities and suicides for all characters, which are all pretty violent.

But they don't happen automatically.

Ending a match with a strong slash gives you a good shot at seeing some arterial spray action, but I don't know if there's a clear formula to it. I've even used medium slash and got a body sliced in half. Can't say I've seen it EVERY match though, I'd probably have to say maybe 70% of the time there's a fatality of some sort.

I only played it for about 5 matches so I didn't get sick of it before I clunk down $200 bucks for it. It seems like it has way more fatalitie instances than other SS games. How do I know if I got the "fixed" version when I get my MVS copy, or does that only apply to the AES release?

"fixed" is only for the AES release, and you know if you got one, if theres a Neo Geo logo sticker on the cart. Or another way you can tell is if you get no random fatalities and the unique ones dont have body pieces flying off.
