I have a "MVS-4-25 (ver. 3)" style Neo Geo cabinet as pictured at http://www.hardmvs.com/xml/usa/usCabs.htm

I'm trying to remove the front red panel that holds the coin box/coin door.

I've got the coin stuff removed, but can't seem to figure out how to get that panel of wood removed.

It was busted up while in the previous owner's care (had it at a restaurant), and I'd like to put an entirely new panel in, and then put a new coin box/coin door/coin mech assembly in it.

Any ideas how to get this out, so that I can measure it for replacement?

Nobody?

Anyone able suggest another place to ask?

I realize that this isn't a normal Neo Geo repair question, but figured I'd start here.

I suppose, if nothing else, that I can bondo the holes in the deal...if I go that route, anyone know the closest match to the Neo Geo red?

try the tech forum....and shoot some pics. If you are down for painting and sanding....they sell wood patch stuff that works great!!!!

here's a shot of mine after being patched...then painted.

here's the patch job:

here's the outcome after painting:

make sure to do at least 3-4 good coats of paint

started off as this...yeah, no shots of the holes, but you can tell by the amount of wood patch I used. It's a thick mixture of sawdust and glue.
