Is it true that KOF94(JAP) for the AES has been reported to have move glitches? My friend recently bought the game and says that he cannot perfrom various attacks, such as Terry's Crack Shoot.

No, it just requires you to have more precise movements with the joystick.
The later KOF are way too forgiveable, when doing complicated motions, KOF'94
& '95 you have to do the motions almost perfect.

The control in '94 is just fine. Or at least it's a hell of a lot better than the MVS version of '96... if your joystick isn't absolutely perfect, don't count on seeing any special moves that require a half-circle motion!

Never had a problem doing Terry's Crack Shoot in '94... remember that it's Down, Down-Back, Back, Up-Back + Kick, not the dumbed-down quarter circle motion that they used in later KoF's.

True, the only KOF I own on MVS is 96, but I hardly play it because the controls are too damn furstrating.

I've never had any problems doing any of the moves. KoF96 onwards is too forgiving with the joystick inputs.

Yeah, 94 and 95 have strict input, so unless you're used to the correct motions, it'll seem like it has bad control, glitches or whatnot.
Once you get accustomed to it, it works perfect. It's kinda hard to get out of the habit though.
