Ok going to keep it summarized, if you want more in depth, which you should goto the 2 places below.

After a Month of hearing from them again, they seem to only respond to things they want to. I used them to get some international stuff, told them to combine all stuff in 1 because it was a couple of cds right. I got 6 lets say right, they send 5 out and the last one they tell me to pay another $11 for EMS???? (Don't recall the amount I got but same fkn ratio aspect) Anyway I ask them why I gotta pay for another shipment they say to read www.celga.com/after.html their page . Told her I read it and IT MAKES NO SENSE, both lines Contrast each other it says they can hold it stuff when the customer wants, then they say they may not be able to after some time WTF???
.I ask for refund of that one thing cause they DIDN'T NOTIFY ME about that. They said they can't do it and I am forced to pay the $11 ship.. Now they throwing their customer to waste like im nothing and they telling me to send the money and stop using them look. Id also like to've complaint on them for BAD Business practices (Hyla is in Calfornia, and Keigo in Japan), but that site couldn't do it..

http://www.hobbyfanatics.com/index.php?showtopic=3667 Scroll all way down thats what the deal is.

PS I asked to talk to the boss this japanese guy, i heard hes not really a nice guy)
i read he says i cant deal with an uncooperative cusomer (and you know where i heard it right here)

I've had a very bad experiance with celga. And this is the same company that sells off it's cutomer's items after they take them. I'm pretty sure that they store thier items in a trailer.

I've had a couple good experiences with them, but that was probably 3-4 years ago. Reading those threads it's amazing how a company can act yet still get business. I definately won't be using them ever again, or that anime chaos guy (that guy had some nerve emailing that message that was posted).

It looks like they don't care for their cusomers or service anyway, so Im gonna stop using them top one is from someone else's exp from link above (the bottom one from bustakei is the letter I got)..

" Hello,

This is Keigo from Japan. The owner of Celga, Inc.
Please bear with my poor English. I am a frank person
so I may sound rude but I will tell you my policy.

Basically, Celga doesn't like the customers who
behave like the King. We respect our customers but
we expect them to repsct us. CELGA is not a type of
USA retail companies where consumers have greater
power. We refuse the business with any customers
any time. We don't do business with someone who
is difficult. You can think Celga service of something
like membership service.

I wanted to tell you about this before we start
business because I don't want the trouble afterwards.

There is other service like us. I hope you refer to other service, too.
Thank you

Keigo Morita "

notify about what?

our warehouse is really small an we cannot hold items
for that long without it costing us. Please
understand that.

if items are sitting at japan warehouse for more than
a month or so, celga japan office may prepare the
package before a customer specifially request
shipping. celga has limited storage space
available, and most of our customers bid on many items
over a long time ... so, it is impossible to hold/wait
for all items to be in stock, because new items are
always arriving for the customer.

when a package is ready to go, it is moved to a
different storage area... awaiting pick up/delivery to
the post office.
so, it is time-consuming and complicated to 'just add
1 more item' to a box that is already waiting to ship
out. that is why celga cannot.....

Seemed to figure it the facts, its that Keigo (CUSOMERS are NOT his #1 priority) whos doing bad business practices, and Hyla (the nice one) who has to listen to him and just sends out replys.

See what I mean :very_ang:

......................so far Ive seen 2 places talking about the rudeness of this Keigo guy and a similar problem someone occured with them to what I had

4/27/05: "Basically, they are angry with my questioning of their shipping policy and they have decided to keep my money and my money (I didn't know I was dealing with children who hold grudges). P.S. In none of my emails was the language offensive in any way.

..........that guy while cofounder of Celga is known for his RUDENESS, being DIFFICULT and just overall being a JERK! I second adding Celga to the list. I use to use them but b/c of him I quit.
I will add however Emily and Hylda were nice. But too much negative experiences with annoying, holier than thou Keigo. " http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=172&st=360 More in depth there at the bottom quote

< On a side note dealt with 3 other japanese business's recently and many years, few when I was there as well and most I've seen are very nice to customers. But you may bump into few exceptions such as the Celga case where the leader doesn't care, in this case the keigo guy (whos policy is "We don't treat customers like King" and the others you read above). The Japanese culture way, if we arnt far off, is they don't complain about stuff and just move on or use a different service, yes its wierd. "Otherwise things could get really messed up, since the country is so small and everything's so compact, that one thing could lead to another and become widespread and ridiculous" friends quote.

Hyla on the other hand is nice actually she just has to follow "his strict policy" and what he tells her, feel bad that shes doing that business. >

PS person at macrossworld who had similar problem mentions
"Basically they are bearable if you a) don't expect much in customer service, b)don't need to combine items, c) do not ask sellers any questions or seek clarification, and d) just like to bid on your own and pay. However, considering these two facts: 1) 100% of the items patrons use Celgas service for is in Japanese and/or actually located within Japan, and 2) most of the patrons are non-Japanese readers, dare I say, English speakers, we are bound to request assistance! Morons, this IS what a real deputy service does, assist potential buyers to deal w/sellers."

and different reply
"In Japan, the overall impression I've gotten was very nice but mostly on the surface. If you press some shops too much for info, they do get irratable. Its also as ocean had stated : The Japanese culture is more respectful in general so customers don't complain or request as much. Their humbleness evens out across both business owner and customer.
When American expections are requested, it comes off as pushy and is a turn off even for the business owners who are not used to providing up to the same level of service as in America. Different culture, different rules, different expectations."

oh yea

I used them before and I have to admit, the system is not a good one. I dunno. It's too complicated the way they set it up.

Thankyou for sharing your experience. I've never used one of these services because I was always lead to believe it's just too much hassle but if I ever start, I 'll be sure to remove my shoes and kneel before my monitor for the BIG BAD Celga man.

The only things I will say for me is that they are slow.

I dont really ask them questions as I translate the auctions but I know what you mean.

I have my own account with them, so I only deal with them for paying but they always combine my items,

Maybe not as compacted as lets say 3 years ago, however when I go Japan next year, I would like to meet Keigo, as the man told me this 3 years himself that we could if I ever came to Japan ago but he could have changed

Don't know what this place is but by the email the customer service stinks. Fuck that shit, and move on. Their loss in the long run.
