What do you guys think? I don't have many home carts, but if I sell 'em I could easily get !Arcade!'s convertor and replace them on MVS for half the price and have the remaining money to purchase more MVS games I wouldn't drop the $$$ on cart. (MS1, Kizuna, PI2 etc..) (I mean, I LOVE SNK games but for example I don't want to spend $60-$80 for Samurai 2 when I already owned it 6 years ago. I'd love to have old games I used to own but don't want to spend the $$$ for nostalgia reasons or just to say yeah I own Fatal Fury 3. I don't really care about collecting any more and I no longer have my games on display; they are currently in a trunk and I bring them out to play only. Plus I'm a stickler for picture quality and sound quality, and if what you guys say is true about the superb sound quality from the convertor, that would mean more to me than box, insert and what the cart 's worth. I could quadruple my collection with the money I got from my carts (I have MOTW us, LB2 us, MS3, Ninja Masters etc..) I guess I've already answered my own question but it's a big step for me to get rid of my precious carts :> ) I don't want to do both either; either I'm going to sell my carts and start getting wonderfully priced MVS games or I'm gonna forget about it and just play the games I have and never own or play games like Metal Slug, Ganryu, Prehistoric Isle 2:>(
Please, any feedback would be welcome!

It may seem like a good idea now, but in the future you may regret it. You will have to spend 3x the amount of what your home carts are worth now trying to replace them. I would only sell my home carts as a last resort.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I don't want to get rid of them. I love the box art too much I think.

Rick i strongly suggest you not to sell them!
cause like the others said if you sell them they won't only cost you 3x as much but also you have to worry about getting involved with fake carts that are in circulation. and that is something no one wants. my suggestion is keep the home carts and just save your money and get the converter. also, if the new cases become available for the MVS carts then take it from there. hupplark_39

hupplark_39: Whoa, you live in Hazleton?! I didn't think anybody actually lived there! I pass through there every once in a while, that's kinda cool there's a Neo fan living there. How's business at Harry's U Pull it Auto Parts? Can you mail me some Senape's Pitza

I'll keep my AES carts no matter what.
It has clamp case but MVS doesn't. Nice and beautiful manuel and printout which MVS has nothing. You might buy a bootleg MVS cart but not AES one unless you buy from NGF

Yeah. MVS carts are ugly. If you like art and package, maybe sticking w/ home carts is better. but then, MVS has it's own pluses of course, namely availability and cost.

Maybe I am jumping on the gun, but I would think that you should have the money to spend on the MVS stuff, from the collection of your AES carts (and fairly recent ones like MOTW). Or, if not, just selling one of the carts that you mentioned will net you Arcade's converter, then some. Why not go both--AES and MVS? In the long run, you get to have your precious AES carts, and play rare AES carts on MVS.

That's the best solution. Try to gather the convertor money and buy it! It's just 300US.
You have the best games on home version and rest you'll get on MVS. Hell, you could just sell Ninja Masters and get the convertor and a LOT of MVS games!
