Why does'nt SNK/Playmore develop a Plug and Play tribute system that they have been doing with everything else. They have them for Atari, Genesis,etc. so why not do a Neo one. They could reproduce the damn hardware cheap nowadays given the spikes in technology. They should release the popular franchises like Metal SLug and all that. This would be better than piece of shit emucade cabs that they have at work. We have a Neo Geo one we sell for $500 that plays roms on PC hardware. I would rather have a Plug and Play tribute system that is less shittier.
Everyone says Roms are bad when they are free but I think they are worse when they are sold as emucades. I mean $500 for a fake cab that kind of plays SamSho and other hacked versions of good games. I have an archive DVD of all the AES roms and all the Neo Geo Cd ISO. I also have 35 original Neo Geo CD games that I bought. The ISO and the Roms work better than the emucades out now. I waited until the system died before I got ISO and Roms.
I was disappointed with some of the Xbox versions of Metal SLug since they are all pixelated and shit. I would be willing to pay if SNK would do a PNP on Neo Geo Hardware.
