Does anyone know where I might be able to find dreamcast to jamma adapters? Or maybe a nes to jamma adaptor? Saturn?

I know I could build one, but I am a bit lazy as of late.

I believe they have something like that under the "Super" section at excellentcom.net

You can probably ask one of the more knowledgeable tech guys to build one for you.

I did just that, and I am now able to run PSX/PS2,X-Box,and DC in my cab.

And since I own a multi-res cab,I'm able to play my DC in hi-res mode, thanks to the VGA box.

So anybody want to make me one of these? How much would you charge? Big, who made yours?

Thanks for the info all, by the way.

Wasn't cheap,I can tell you that.

If I remember correctly,it probably ran me about $300-$400,including upgrades ( VGA audio output through JAMMA,kick-harness,etc.)

Devilman78 made them for me,and sadly,it seems that he is MIA at the moment....

The Excellentcom "Super" kits look interesting. The Drivign kit seems to come with decent driving controls and the Gun kit looks to allow you to use sweet arcade guna with the Dreamcast.

For some reason you have to request a price list. they are $110 each, and $20 for each console "kit".

I would totally get one if it will work fine on my cab

Looks like they didnt even come close to the JAMMA standard, or even MVS sub standard. Link: http://www.excellentcom.net/jamma_diagram.htm

Notice how they even used the key trace, so if your jamma connector has a key, you wont even be able to put it on there, and 6 buttons on the harness? This could have been way better IMO.

If you build one yourself, it should not cost more than $40. And you can build it however you want....

I haven't found anything that gives me a clear instruction set on how to. I'm sure it well within my ability, its just a matter of finding instructions I can read clearly.

I like the way the made it "modular" sorta speak , for multiple systems.

What kind of cab are you going to be putting it in?

its a stereo MVS cab, the tall 4 slot with the speakers up top.

I think its technically not JAMMA, but the stereo audio is supposed to be the only difference.... it kind of sucks having stereo, since all the CPS2 stuff is mono when using the finger board

Use a Jamma board and build an adapter to make it into a standard JAMMA pinout.

(although you'd have to do something like add an extra connector for buttons 5-X (however many that particular system has)
