I'm sorry to waste a thread on this but I need to know. Is every game produced for the Neo Geo AES also on the Neo Geo Cd system? It seems most of them are but not sure about SSV. :conf:

Hi subzero

Please excuse xtoo_short20x, his manners are not xtoo_good.

You will not find the answer to your question on the faq. But you will on the master list.

We seriously need to make the word "SEARCH" bigger in the task bar.

Also remember that searching this forum isn't the only answer you could also use google and come up results that might point you offsite to the Neo Geo Master List site which gives a nice side by side list of the games abd what systems they are available on.

It's obvious that I am pretty new to this so I come here to learn from people who have been at it for awhile. I have searched the threads but sometimes the heading does'nt tell the story about contents. i'm not trying to annoy anyone here just want to play.

I've tracked down a butt load of games off site with search engines but not all of them. I used the google search and I was getting websites of people selling DVD with Neo CD Iso images. I recently tracked KOF 99 New sealed for $25 and World Heroes 2 Jet for $12 Sealed.

So far just about everyone has been great about answering questions. :glee:

Be careful with those compilation DVDs. Aside from the fact that they're illegal, many of the new games just plain don't work consistently as burns. You can use the ISO to try it out but you'll eventually have to buy the real thing if you want to keep playing without it crashing.

That said, you can also find useful CD information at www.neogeocd.net.

Kof '99 was the last game officially released on NeoCD if memory serves me correct.

There are also a few CD only titles like Zintrick, Brink'inger and Crossed Swords 2.

Have never had much luck with the sites search function.

I gave in and bought an ISO DVD for $5 off some website. So far I have been able to get about 20 legit Neo CD games in my price range. I want an MVS but I need one consolized because I am movng soon and don't want to lug a machine. I'm not sure of where to get one or even how much they are. I got Metal Slug 3,4 and 5 for the Xbox although not the same. I'm expecting SSV on the Xbox to be OK but not Neo great. We are getting in KOF 2003 at work on the Xbox so I will get that. That sucks the Neo Cd did'nt get all the games but thats life. I would rather see Neo games survive on the Xbox than not to exist at all. Somebody needs to pull the plug on Sega though. Sega is nothing without arcade titles like back in the Saturn days.

SNK in whatever form they survive in needs to get back on track with more titles. I hate to see them exist on only rehashing the same stuff.
