NTSC/Pal question

I bought my wife Asterix for the Sega Master System but I think the game is PAL. Will a APL game cart work on my Sega Genisis with the Sega Master Sytem base convertor? Or am I SOL.

It should do.

I used to run a MS that I converted to run 50/60hz, and 95% of games run perfectly fine.

There are a few PAL titles that don't like to run at all in 60hz(the Back to the Future games but thats no loss).Also there are a very few that have a few graphical glitches when runnning in 60hz - Space Harrier has a spazzy foot as I can recall.

The only other thing is that the Powerbase converters aren't always 100% compatible with every MS game.
