MVS Cabinet Labels?

Howdy!

I picked up an MVS Cabinet with a 4-slot in it about 3 years ago, and just started getting serious about some restoration of the cabinet in the last week or so.

The control panel is down to bare metal, with light rust in places, and since the joysticks and buttons/microswitches are worn, I was planning on stripping it, beadblasting/sandblasting it, and repainting the thing.

In addition, prior to my purchase of the cabinet, someone busted up some of the MDF board surrounding the coin doors, so I'm replacing that entire panel of MDF, installing a new coin door and mechs, the whole deal.

This leads to a potential problem.

On the control panel, there's a hard plastic label affixed for the headphone jacks and the memory card port.

On the coin door panel, there's a hard plastic label affixed for the "LEFT PLAYER" and "RIGHT PLAYER" arrow-boxes.

I made a half-assed attempt to remove those labels, so I could re-affix them later, but I won't be able to get them off without ruining them. Besides, they're grimy/dirty, and don't seem to want to clean up well.

Is there any place that has any replacements for these, or does anyone have any digitized artwork of these, so that I could, at the very least, get a local sign shop to make me vinyl sticker replacements?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thank you!!

"LEFT PLAYER" and "RIGHT PLAYER" arrow-boxes
Stickers(feel like vinyl )

Yes,sometimes found on ebay as I've bought a few sets once..
My Big Red has a set of them on it...
They usually come in MVS conversion kits..

This no..so try to save it in whatever condion it is in..
However..there is a memory card sticker somewhere on this site in tech..
I used to have it saved to size(on my old computer) As I made one out of thick photo paper/looks great!!

Hrmm...

Maybe I'll just get out there with a razor blade and carefully pull them off, and get the sign shop to make me some.

Anyone interested in any of them?

I just finished scanning it and I have a few notes. The sheet was too large for the 8.5x11 scanner bed, so I had to combine two scans in photoshop. I wasn't sure on what filetype everyone prefers, but I chose tiff as I've found it to work just fine. I also had to greatly increase the contrast in order to get the edges of the white stickers to be discernable from the backing. The scans aren't perfect because my all-in-one scanner isn't optimal for the job, but these could be perfect if someone took a few minutes to get rid of the minor shadows and the crease mark. They should be actual size, unless I messed it up in photoshop.

Let me know if you need anything else.

I'm glad I could help. I imagine that these aren't too easy to come by as there are probably a very small number of conversion kits still around. When was the last time you got a set? I scour ebay for MVS parts and stuff and I haven't seen any in several months.

Yup,I never see these listed anymore.

I picked up 3 sets/shoot a few years ago :( ..back when I was restoring my Big Red..
.......I used one set for that then buried the others somewhere to keep them flat...thing is that was so long ago I have no clue where they are now :oh_no: as I have so much MVS stuff put away..May be put away with some MVS artwork..

I could of swore I had them hosted once at photobucket as I think about it now...
But it's down to go check..
