Hi everyone,

My beloved 4-slot has given up the ghost and I need to get it repaired.

I am willing to pay £50 - £100 + postage costs depending on the severity of the problem.

I was busy playing MSX when the sound went. I decided (unwisely) to wiggle the connections on the back - then the picture went too!

If you're based in the U.K. and think you can help then please get in touch.

thanks,

Antony

I may be... As soon as I get my 4 slot fixed, I'll drop you a note... I got the Z80 on it and a quantity of HA13001 chips I'm ordering from overseas... Got to ship some EPROMs out to be programmed... and then assemble it all & test it. Whew...

If you wiggled the connectors and the picture went then maybe you have dodgy solder joints and you broke one. Nice simple fix for that! Why not open it up and take a look?

Do you own that site or something? :spock:

Ha ha. No. I'm just trying to help people out because they have super cheap prices right now. Maybe I'll stop promoting them now.
