I got a hell of a deal on a NEO Geo CD system but I had to buy from Japan. They had a AES for $120 but I am broke as crap. I hooked up with the fliptop Neo Geo CD system, 2 controllers, and 7 games for $156.00 not including shipping. The Shipping is EMS and was about $50 3-6 days. The games that I am getting are Fatal Fury 3, Fatal Fury Special, King of Fighters 97 and 98, Samurai Shodown 1-3 all complete with books and spine cards. How good of a deal was this really? I bought using Paypal from a dealer in Japan. I trust them because they have been polite as hell and very fast on the email responses.

I know about load times but is there anything else? I don't care about that just greatful to have my own Neo coming in. Should I get Metal Slug 2 for $51.33 for Neo CD? I know it's probably all in Japanese but I have played these games millions of times. After I get these in then I am going back for the AES they have.
Is there any particular Neo CD titles that are awesome to own they might have?

I bought 2 xbox 360 units and made double what I paid now I am buying Neo stuff. I'm glad to see everyone still enjoys this system as much as I do.

Sounds like a great deal! Congrats :) Metal Slug 2 for $51.33? Sounds like another great deal

The Neo CD is great for the older titles, I personally recommend Viewpoint and Last Resort if you like shooters, they only load once (at startup) which is great :chimp:

A lot of Neo Geo CD games allow you to change language in the options so often having Japanese isn't a problem, tho it will always be default & some won't let you choose of course.

Thanks

The only game they have there that was recommended was Puzzle Bobble. Amazingly they have just about everything else in stock..The guy said they sell alot of AES carts. The cd is a mixed bag the games are easier to get but all those load times.

I bought a ROM DVD online for $15 to try some games that I might not have played to see if I want to buy them. Supposedly every neo game ever made so we'll see. I don't have broadband to download this shit for free.

Seriously those Xbox 360 units are made like shit for $300-$400. I sent a new sealed unit out and the guy emailed bitching it was glitched. I gave him a sales reciept and basically SOL deal with M$. My 1st gen PS2 lasted for 5 years then the DVD screwed up so I got a new one.

On another note when the hell will they release a SS 3-d like they did with KOF?
