Geting my first Astro City!

Well, I finally broke down and ordered an astro city from matsu. Shipping was KILLER but hopefully the cab will make up for it.

Anyhow, does anyone have or know where to get good repros or scans of the cp. I know of the riverservice (cant remember the exact name) site, but figuring the shipping is going to be really high, plus I want to make a custom 7 button layout (4 row top, 3 row bottom). Does anyone know about how much it cost to ship a cp to the us?

Any sugestions on what works best to clean these puppies up. Mine should be arriving wednesday...I am sooo pumped!!!

If it will help, I just bought a 3 button Astro City control panel that I could take a fairly high res photo of... Many not be the best but it "might" help you.

Congrats on getting the cab!, they are excellent cabs.

I'm also thinking of getting a new CP for my Astro City cab but it's around $200 au dollars for one shipped from Japan via Excellentcom or riverservice, a bit expensive but I bet they are perfect condition!

Because riverservice seems to be a bit expensive and the only really "practical" way to pay them is to wire the money into their account, I will probably go for a Blast City CP from Excellentcom, they are the same shape just as all "newer" Sega Candy CP's and they look decent.
Not the original CP but at the end of the day it's better than nothing.

looks like Excellentcom also carries the proper AstroCity CP.

Where are the prices on excellentcom? Do have have to call. Thanks for the suggestion. I am waiting till the cab gets here to see if I really even neen to swap the CP. If its even a little rusty I think it has got to go. Hopefully not...
So here I am waiting...wednesday at five. It will be here.

Congrats on your cab!

I'm also thinking of getting another candy cab in the future and possibly dealing with matsu. Any chance you could fill me in on the shipping cost? Indy's only a few hours from me so I'm sure it'd be about the same. I'd just like an idea before I start frothing at the mouth over some cabs.

Just e-mail them with the item name and then ask for the price and they should e-mail you back with all the information you asked for.

I've checked with them and they only carry the Blast City CP's which are the same price.
Still a cool CP though.

I paid close to three hundred just for shipping. Yeah, and my shit came hella damaged. You should check out my other thread about it. However, the astro monitor alone has sold me on those cabs. So if you are serious about ordering one, let me know. We could do a joint order because shipping is two for one.

I've emailed Matsu about what cabs he has so I'll see. If we could split the shipping that'd help tremendously in convincing me to get one from him. It's just such a pain trying to find these suckers anywhere but the west coast. And I saw your other thread, that really sucks, I haven't checked it for updates but I hope you get things worked out.

The Blast City 2P 6B CP <OOM-8-6BSR-H> is US$ 138 from Excellent Com. EMS shipping US$ 45 and UPS US$ 38 to USA. All of the Sanwa Joysticks and buttons priced out via Himura Store totals $95.58 w/o shipping. This means that if you could purchase the items seperately, the cost of the medal CP plate and graphic overlay would be around $42.42. I will pass on purchasing a new control panel and just modify my current CP with the additional holes and new components from Himura Store. Hope this information is useful to you.
