Must be some games you jusy can't beat? It used to be SS2 for me ( I know) and I woudl own that game, I mean I could run though it on LVL 8 and not die once, just blow through it. When I would get to Misuki or whatever her name is. I would try my best, sometimes beat her one round, but then get Raped again.

Just recently I find it's best to charge her and grab he, and just keep attacking her, it worked finally. Great Game.

Some boss's I find too Easy, SSIV just too Easy.

Geese I couldn't even get a hit on, I can't get AOF2 down, I mean I just can't get too far in that game.

I haven't given it a burl in a while so I guess it's about time.

Whoa man, I hear that... That was the first MVS kit I got and wow... I'm pretty decent at that game and I still get stomped at level 5 or so.

I finally figured out how to beat Johann (with some characters), and I've finally beat Kizuna with everyone, so the only game I have left that I haven't beaten is Savage Reign. Shin King Lion beats my night stalking ass in that game.

That's it aye.. the first couple of rounds I own it, but up around 5 or 6, I'm gone. They seem to block every single move and just slam you.

Obviously a good technique is to throw to your team mate at the other end, off the court and smash them from behind.

I'm yet to figure out the effectiveness of the taunt/fake throw.

I'm definately hitting this game in the next couple of days.

True dat. Is it just me, or if you get the 1/3 life service, does the Rugal's difficulty ramp up?

SFA 3 for DC... Man, that game had me throwing all sorts of stuff. I could do a relatively large amount of ass kicking up until Bison... Then it was all over... Ugh, it makes me mad just thinking about it.

You mean the double bison fight? That was insane.

Is it just me, or is RotD unusually difficult?

Admittedly, I've only played it a couple of times.

yeah southtown kids right, savage reigns boss is way too hard. thats if you play him normally without resorting to cheap tactics like in AOF2. kizuna wasnt that hard, beat it on kb with all charas. but only beat savage reign once, on neo cd pad oldstyle stick whatever. motherfuckers too hard, but then again the game sucks. its way too uncontrollable like AOF2, maybe thats why i hate it.

Thing is, I like all those games. I wasn't crazy about Savage Reign, but I've been playing it some more recently, and it's growing on me. I just don't have the patience for the boss, but I enjoy it up to there.

NES Battletoads. :envy:

That was the very first game I thought of, too. But alas, this is in the 24 bit (and therefore, Neo Geo) section. So, my answer would have to be Art of Fighting 2. WHAT an ass kicker of a game. And I don't even like it. How sad is it that a game you don't like can walk all over you, making you hate it all the more?

Agreed - I tried really hard to like it, but I just hate it. I think it needs more time than i am willing to spend.

If I'm gonna spend some time getting into AoF it'll be AoF3

But neo, have to agree. Super Dodgeball, and Nam. Got to the end once, got the world blowed up, said WTF, and havent played it since.

I can get up to the 7th stage on AOF2 with difficulty level set to 1 but even then it was luck.

I kind of felt that way when it came out, but since I got it this year, I really don't think it's as hard as everyone makes it out to be. You just have to get into a different mindset playing it than you would for a more recent fighter (or even a lot of the older ones). I think the people who have trouble with AOF2 just aren't able to let go of their normal fighting game habits.

Playing AOF2 1-player is like a puzzle: you look for what each enemy does, what causes them to do that, then take advantage of it. Not that bad. Shin King Lion in Savage Reign is probably like that too, I just haven't spent enough time with it.
