As you probably know the memory card reader on the 2 slot board is built onto the board and not separated by a cable.

I picked up a 2 slot cabinet this weekend. Upon bringing it home, I removed the board to give it a good scrubbing only to find someone had shoved a dime along with some of those orange gummi candies into the slot. Additionally, most of the pins are mashed into one another.

Question, does anyone have a dead 2 slot they would like to part out? I'm skilled with an iron and it doesn't appear to be anything more than a swap-out. Has anyone else done this?

That's a reason why they stoped with the memcard slot.....

You can also pull one of a DEAD AES.

you may be able to find one in an old laptop, they used to be fitted with PCMCIA card readers.

I can supply brand new readers...One of the two styles must be compatible with Neo.

1. Single card socket conforming to PCMCIA type II and JEIDA specifications. The connector is a right angle type for horizontal PCB mounting. Solder pins are arranged in four rows of seventeen on a 2.54mm (0.1") pitch.

2. Single card width memory card connector conforming to PCMCIA and JEIDA specifications. Connector has 68 pin headers with right angle solder pins on a 1.27mm (0.05" pitch) for horizontal PCB mounting.

I would like to purchase one of these from you. I sent a PM to you after seeing one of your earlier posts on this subject.

Please email or send a PM. Thanks.

Ordered a replacement part :drool_2: from digikey. Should be here in a couple days. I'll post pics of the progress if everything works out.
