Is this good for a Supergun/Consolisation power supply?

I know it has no -5v, but well... for MVS that's fine, and can't one get -5v out of +5v somehow?

The text reads:
Code:
ATARI
PART NO: CO70099
POWER SUPPLY DSP-1501 DVE
INPUT: 120V AC 60Hz 0.3A
OUTPUT: +5V DC 3A
        +12V DC 30mA
        -12V DC 30mA
PIN: 1 +5V 5 -12V
     2 NC 6 +5V
     3 GND 7 GND
     4 +12V
And yeah, it's a mammoth. Bigger than the XB360 power supply, and about as heavy as the one in my arcade cab. So, will I be able to get a -5v out of this? What MVS boards will it be able to power? And most of all, being so old do you think it's reliable?

I don't think that your +12v is enough to power anything. 30mA is like .03 Amps.

you could use it with a MV-1F if you get sound from the headphone connector.
