I just got this JAMMA board, and I hooked it up to my supergun and got it working, but I keep getting a scrambled video image. I'd appreciate any help.

Was the board purchased as "working"

Jumbled gfx may well be corrupted data in a gfx rom.
You may be able to program a new set from the mame dump (assuming its emulated)

It didn't say it wasn't working. Are you saying there's something wrong with it? All this time I just thought there some switch/knob or whatever that I need to figure out to adjust so the image comes out fine.

Assuming nothing at the moment. Trying to establish if its a problem with sync or hor/vert hold of your monitor or TV. Its difficult without an image.

Well You know it works but the image is scrambled. I actually just checked my email and this was the reply

100 in 1 will have attached photo around 15 second and wait more 10 second will be normal.

It seems like I am supposed to wait. But I even let it sit there for a few minutes and it's still the same.

So are you saying I have to change the power cord of my supergun?? Because there is also the power cord of the board?

There shouldn't be.
If it's JAMMA, it'll be powered by your supergun.

doggydodomi doesn't mean the power cord, he means the actual PSU for your supergun.

Unknown.

What supergun is it? Is it a home made one?
It's possible that it will be running on a PC PSU or it could be using a proper arcade one.

Either way, it won't be difficult.

We are getting ahead of ourselves though.
We don't actually know if it is the power supply that's at fault.

I am only really familiar with Neo MVS boards, not sure what the fault could be in this case.

what type of tv are you using, if its one of these new HDTV LCD things it may not like the frequency. Someone else had a problem with garbled gfx with CPS2 for this reason.

Well apparently the image comes out well on an arcade cabinet. So there seems to be an image problem on a TV. I still want to play this on my supergun on the TV. Is there anything I can do or get so I can fix the image on the TV?
