1-slot help (pre-emptive apology)

Now which is the 1-slot that gives trouble with newer games? I know its been discussed many times, but my search function doesn't work and so I cannot find out. I'm worried about MS5 and SVC being compatible. ROTD is about to be sold so that's ok. Again sorry for the repeated question, but hey.

This is the list of games I own. None are boots, and it's unlikely to change in the future as these are the only titles I want. I need a small 1-slot which is compatible with all of these titles. The board must be either a MV-1A, 1B or 1FZ due to size.

MV-1B and MV-1C will work with all games.
Unsure about the 1FZ.

I have an MV-1F which runs everything fine but I suspect that would be too big if you have space restraints.

How about the MV-1A?, the 1C is not good for me due to the vertical loading. I was thinking of the 1B due to its very small size, but the soldered bios is putting me off. This is to be a consolisation project.

I'm not sure about the MV-1A.
I think it's essentially the same as the 1FZ but you can reach the BIOS without removing the lid.

Not sure about compatibility with Playmore carts.


If you want the smallest size and highest known compatibility, you're looking at the 1B.
I know what you mean though, mate.... Surface mount BIOS.....
