I picked up one of these control pads for 12 or 15 bucks at gamestop. I saw them before, but for twice as much...so I decided to try it.

I have always hated the xbox controllers for 2-d games. This is much better than I thought it would be. Very good feel in your hands, and the directional pad is great IMO. Pulling off moves, especially supers, is a lot smoother.

I didn't think it had a communicator/memory card reader, but it does on the bottom edge. The vibrate feature is horrible though...sounds like its breaking, very noisy and ruff.

I hate the animated sticker on the front....but whatever. Its worth it for on-line KOF or SF..and soon to be SSV

I just dont like that kind of stuff in general...I would rather it be solid color, or maybe a capcom logo at most.

Its worth the 12-15 bucks for sure

when they added the voice slot i think it made the buttons stiffer & less springy. u should try the ps2ver.

I have one for both the ps2 and xbox and for some reason the ps2 one seems to control better. Maybe its just me. either way though, they are pretty cool controllers. I wish they were a bit more like the saturn controllers though.

the original "fat" xbox controller is nasty to play sf with, I just cant pull off any of the moves.

I bought a big arcade stick, which is 100% better than the pad, but still nowhere near as good as my cab set up

I would try the ps2 one but I sold that system like 3 years ago. I noticed they have a broader selection as far as colors/character schemes.

Actually, that xbox pad looks to be worth investing in. I might have to hunt down a couple of them before the December lock-in at my dojo :buttrock:
