There's a super auction in Milwaukee WI this Saturday. Anyone going to it? I'm going up there with a buddy to see if there's any Neo machines I can't live without. If anyone wants me to bid on something for them, I'd be happy to do so and give it to you later, perhaps? I live in Rockford, IL.... just an idea.

See you there... maybe?

I did think about it, but for two reasons, I'm not going:

1. I'm broke

2. Don't want to make the trip (taking the day off, and getting a truck would be a hassle too)

good luck though. Hopefully the cabs go for less than most did at the auction I was at a few weeks ago.

Last auction I went to here in Rockford, cabs were going for $100. I'm talking a few Neo Geo big reds, and the one I bought, which is now a Tekken 4 cab. Should be great deals if you don't mind fixing them up. If you're able to paint, change buttons and glass, it's well worth the time and money.

I think it's all about good bidding stategy. So many people bid crazy amounts on games that are only worth a third what they payed for. Some cabs that are worthless go for $1000+, while some worth over $500 sometimes get only $85. Definitely fun to go to auctions. I wish there were more around here, and that I had a truck. It was a pain in the ass getting my Aero Fighters cab home the other day.

I wish I saw more PCB kits and MVS carts at auctions though. Nobody seems interested in them so they go for super cheap prices, well at least from what I saw.
