I was checking what games they had made for the arcades and found that they only had Hyper Duel and worked with Sega on Thunderforce AC (which is the same as the one released on home consolde I think).
thing is I picked up a arcade pcb yesterday which was made by TechnoSoft and there appears to be no info on it whatsoever online. I even searched for it using japanese symbols and a translation of these symbols and nothing.
its a very fun 1 or 2 player game - quite simple really. the screen is divided in 2 - you have almost identical images on either side (static or with some bits of animation) and what you have to do is spot the difference - player 1 has to look at the opponent's screen and mark on his own screen what he see's as different - player 2 does the same. havent played it in 2 player mode yet but I think whoever spots 3 differences on any given picture first wins that round.
in one pleyer the idea is the same but you're working against the clock and every round is split into 5 parts (so you have to work on 5 pictures within this frame of time).
bonus rounds between levels are you (player 1 is a boy and player 2 a girl, both drawn in typical cute anime fashion) either punching away at a tower until it crumbles and falls, or helping a penguin get to his destination. there are more, I just haven't gotten to them yet.
graphics are very colorful, and very nice. this game's probably form around '93 or '94. while there's not that much going on on screen most of the time, it complements the way the game is played. very cute. very japanese.
I'll get some pictures up.
I don't know why there's nothing on this game online. obviously very obscure and unheard of (obviously unemulated), and it wouldn't be as interesting as it is if it didn't come from TechnoSoft. maybe some of the characters in this game are from some of their previous works but I'm not that familiar with alot of their stuff. I'll check that out.
