Hellos,

I was able to get a mvs four slot board and stuck in 3 carts, but when I go into test mode, only two of the games show up under soft dip settings. Is there a dip switch setting I need to use to get the 3 games to show up? Thanks :)

have you tried putting the 3rd cart in the 4th slot to see if the 3rd cart slot is faulty or something?

Try pulling out and putting in the third cart a few times in case there's some dust there. Then try putting it in, but backing it out about a millimeter.

choosing games?

Thank you for the quick responses. I got the carts to show up in test mode.

Now how do I choose which games to play out of the three carts? Thanks lol. Sorry, really still new to the whole MVS scene :P

Well, if your MVS is properly wired up there should be a button for it. If not, check hardmvs.com's pinouts.

Thanks again for the info.

I looked at the pinout sheet and it looks like going from the mvs board to the jamma connector, there is no connector for it on the jamma.

Since I'm using a supergun that has a default jamma connector, does this mean I can't select games easily without soldering wires?

Correct.

It means you can't select games at all without soldering, unless you keep a little bit of wire handy to touch on the edge connector.

Just get a 'push-to-make' switch, wire one terminal to the 'select up' pin on the JAMMA connector (can't remember which one it is) and the other to a GND pin (at the ends on the connector).

Easy as pie.

couldn't he wait for the demo to roll through to the next game? still a button would be best.

Haha! I didn't think of that! :tickled:

He could wait, but it'd get old pretty quickly.
