Cleaning up the Neo Scene

[EDITOR'S NOTE: This thread was the disasterous return of Chris Mullins, an infamous member of the Neo Community. Proof positive that you should never expect to return to your old tricks when people still remember (and have documented) your old ones.]

I have to say the Neo scene isn't what it used to be since I left, I have been keeping up with the boards over the last couple of months. It has really gone downhill, more than words can describe.

I see three main sites, companies, whatever you want to call them, trying to become SNK now. Neo-Geo.com, NeoGeoFreak and !Arcade! Solutions. All of which are run by similar types, no one better than the next, all have certain positives, and all are crooks in their own ways, serving their own self interests.

I think it's about time the fans took back the Neo scene, the bullshit has to end, and I know I won't be able to live in this scene with it's current state. So in other words, "Air Mullins" is coming to the rescue. My new Neo Geo Emporium will be up and running very soon. Complete with BBS, Chat room and MVS/Home system store. I already have a deal with Cosmico to be their US Distributor for MVS carts, I'm going to be selling games at rock bottom prices. I hope this will heal the scene, and the bullshit can die.

Stay tuned for details as they unfold, as Jordan would say "I'm back".

They ran out of official manuals when they were packaging Twinkle Star Sprites.
So they used xerox copies in the official release.
Those have to be awful rare, since no one has seen em for sale since u left the scene.

Well, since I have to repost this stuff (I bookmarked it just in case), here we go again:

(For all those who weren't around, Chris Mullins (aka olddon) was one of Dion and Chris Ray's cronies from back in the day (before NGF was formed). He would start going off about how great he was, looking down on people poorer than him (imagine a really bad version of TonK), and he even started mixing in slurs as time went on.)

Back when there were only a few online ways to get Neo Geo info, there was the DHP BBS list... which was conveniently archived.

Here are a few highlights from those days (most are from 1999):

-Here (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Sep/0355.html) he makes really tastless fun of an African-American because he can't afford Neo carts. . At this point he thought it would be cool to sign each of his posts with a different person's name -but rest assured, as you can see from the email, its him.

-This (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Sep/0413.html) person is a "welfare-homo"

-This (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Sep/0416.html) person is a "kraut"

-In this thread (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Aug/1605.html), CMullins talks about "Dumb Germans" and how Orange stripped carts (which we now know are definitely freaked) are the real deal

-Here's a follow up (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Aug/1617.html) to that thread.

-in another period post (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Sep/0167.html), Chris tells us word-by-word the lies of NGF and how SNK somehow produced correctly stripped versions of some games (as you might of heard NGF tried its hardest for years to say that their pirate carts were SNK).

-more dissing poor people (http://lists.dhp.com/neogeo/1999/Sep/0424.html)


Essentially, he's like the Cartman of the Neo Scene.

Last month, Mullins tried re-entering the scene as well.

We met him with the same response as we are now and he deleted his own thread so people wouldn't see it and possibly forget (the truth can be an ugly mo-fo).

Now (a whole month later) he's back. Only this time we've disabled the ability to delete your own thread <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">

Caris. Mullins is the 1st ORIGINAL "Big TYMER" who tried to start his own franchise and failed.
Dion used to charge up to $100 for an insert he supposedly reproduced from SNK's "digital files"

What is that. You buy stock from cosmico and resale it? I hate to burst you bubble but a lot of people from this list already recieve a price list from cosmico on a regular bassis including myself. There is also MDGAMES which resales Cosmico games on ebay. They are one amoung many. And in looking at the thier carts you can always tell if the are bootleged or not by the * by the name.

Well Chris good luck. However if you start marking those games up crazy I will be more then happy to post the prices Cosmicco list them for as i am sure anyone else will.

I havn't been around the seen for to long, but before I bought my Neo Geo I did some searching. I read all about NGF, Shawn, and !Arcade!. One thing I can say about it though is that Neo fans are not ones to forget anything. You people keep some insane track records of people (and with this assholes record it's no wonder).

Get a life, I've moved on, to bigger and better things, but I still see some of you still live in the past. As for people that don't know me yet, I really hope you don't let the comments of a few disgruntled and ignorant individuals (I don't even recognize some of the names bashing me) alter your perception of me, half the "Stories" I've heard about Dion and Chris on these pages are not true, I've never had anything but good deals with them, and I know plenty who would say the same.. I see Smallwood hasn't popped up yet, what a surprise, he's probably playing Puzzle Bobble with his "Wife".

I really don't want to get hung up on negativity, I've let the past go, some of you should do the same, since it's those people forever bitching about everything that pull the scene down more and more.

As for everyone else, I hope to see you all, and I want to help you all make the Neo scene as good as it first was, together we can make it happen.

Well good luck, I believe you may need it Chris. And a word of advice, standing up for Dion and Chris won't win you fame and admiration in the forums here. They burned their bridges LONG ago, you'd do best to stay clear of them if you're serious about getting back into the scene. Judging by your pictures shouldn't you be out protesting for minority rights or something?

Get a life, as for the Smallwood, the guy pretty much bankrupted me in the Neo scene, he mailed every bidder in my auctions for weeks, and even contacted MVS dealers I bought from, feeding them bullshit lies about me. He ruined me, over nothing, it look me nearly 2 and a half years to get back on my feet.

Oh and Shawn can thank Smallwood for him not getting his games, Shawn may have only lost a couple games, but I lost thousands. I have no intention of trying to make good on anything, until others make good on what happened to me, it's funny, the real "Crooks" of this scene get away scott free, while myself, and people like Dion and Chris get lies upon lies told about them.

Ever hear the expression take a look in the mirror? All of you so called "Neo Freedom Fighters" never let the wound heal, you keep scratching it, tearing it open, day upon day, month upon month, and it gets bigger, and bigger. Your all the most dangerous thing to the scene if you like to think that or not.
