Sometimes during reading a magazine or surfing thru the net I find some very impressive SNK-art. Does anybody know any sources for this stuff?!

I remember seeing the SNK artists name somewhere, but I can't remember what it is or where I saw it. I really like the bold, thick, clustered lines that the artist uses. Esp. on the hair of the characters. Anyone know his name?

Well there are several places for SNK art. there used to be a site called Queen of fighters which had some nice (but revealing) art of the snk female charcters. A lot of anime shops have the pictures. Of course there are fan art etc.
I picked this picture up at a Con in Dallas. Paid $180 for it but it is worth every penny. it's a hand drawn in ink of mai and mary or course.

My SNK illustrations is Kyo on the cover.
It's pretty cool. It has KOF, AOF, FF and SS series art works in it plus other games such as Ikari Warrior, Top hunter, and so on. There are three SNK artists but I only know their names in Chinese/Japanese, not in English. One of them is called Nao Q. My favorite artist is the one who did all the major SNK publishing and you will know what I'm saying when you play Capcom vs SNK and choose SNK groove. Yuckydog, show us the cover and let us know how much do you want to sell it.

if you like pictures I picked these up tonight 3 for $10 at a local anime shop. also got the KOF 2000 double music cd for $29.50 which is real high for a SM cd but what can you do

they had several others and dublicates. if someone likes I can get some more however keep in mind poster tubes are about $2.75 at the P.O. and shipping is around $3.50

Does anyone here into vector graphics? I have couple of orignial prints printed from Kodak, and it's not Neo Geo realted, but anime. The quality is excellent.

I have seen really good King of Fighters art in these Hong Kong comics my friend brought me back from Canada. They looked very anime style. I`d almost say they look better than most of the SNK original art. Another good source is the gamest mookss that come out for all the games. Even Neo Geo Freak magazine had some good art.

I found that the SNK art books have alot of the same art in them that you'll find in your
game manuals or in old gaming magazines.
I was looking for more of a pencil artwork book and there's one out there with a tan cover with sketch images on it that I'll probably get ahold oif in the future. Right now I attempt to draw :> I drew my image from a black & white scan of a manual.

Maybe my SNK illustration book is good enough since it covers KOF 94-98(?), SS (1-4), AOF (1-3), FF (1-RR), Ikarri (1-3), Top Hunter, Last Resort, and so on with pencil, watercolor and lots funny sketches in it.
