are they the big-ended plugs for the Neo, or the small metal-ended ones I see everywhere?

Well, I don't know what you mean by "big-ended." Generally speaking, the cable is pretty light and sleek, unlike those ugly ass things with thumbscrews and clunky boxes on the ends. Both ends are enclosed in molded plastic. The female end is very similar to the end of the cable of a kidney shaped Neo stick (the part that plugs into the console itself.) The manufacturer is Woods Industries, I couldn't find them on the Web. Just look at the picture, that's pretty much what you're getting ( at least, that's very similar to what they sent me.) I would email them and ask if they're selling something radically different than what is pictured.

Yes thanks for linking this. I just received 4 of them yesterday. Now to rebuild some old style sticks!

I have a pair of those exact cords ebayed from that store about 6 months ago. The female ends are not deep enough to make contact with the pins on my 2-slot. I can't speak for AES since I dont have one, but they will not work on the original MVS plugs without modding. I plan on trimming down the plastic on the plugs so they will fit.

The male end works fine, and you can plug an oldstyle stick into it very snugly.

Trimming these cables is a snap, and the finished product is very clean. You will love it. I have four I got for a buck each, and never a problem with them. Don't even mess with the bolted ones -- your finished product will be junk when you're finished cutting everything away.

That's what I'm planning on. As cheap and thin as these are, I can stand some cutting to get them where I need them.

This is a Fricking Joke right?

The guy wants to charge me $28.50 just to ship me 10 of them......
That's like a total of 48.50 for 10.

It only costs $8. to ship 10 such items priority.

What an ass.

Yeah, I'm sorry these things aren't widely available anymore, or I'd send you a link to buy them for a more reasonable price. I'm starting to wish I had bought more for a dollar when that store was around.

I just got mine today. I got four, and that's all that would have fit into a Priority mail box (they still have their retail boxes).

I'll still have to trim them a bit, but I have a Dremel tool, so it's cake (I do need to buy new bits, though). BTW, what's the best bit for trimming these? Cutting wheel, sander, other?

I sell ones that require no trimming to be used in an AES on my site. Sadly, they aren't as cheap, but my shipping is reasonable. Way cheaper per cable than the NeoStore or JGN.

Is there any reason why you can't trim the ends of the actual neo connectors?

I'm not even sure what you mean by that, but it can't be good. Without trimming, it won't fit in the slot on the system. What are you going to do, trim the control slot?

Mine were so easy, I cut them with a common kitchen knife. Yep, I'm great with tools.
