going to Japan can pick some candy cabinets

Hi!
I'm going to Japan in few weeks on a business trip and I'm planning to
pick up some cabs there myself. I had few people interested, that I sold items to
in the past, and I want to purchase enough for container load.
I want to find out if anyone else will be interested, so we can all save on shipping if I will have enough people for container load.

I have know idea what the price of a neo 29, aero city, astro city go for over there. Mostly interested in an sega astro city sit down.

It is still going to cost a lot to ship in the USA.

As I understand after speaking to a friend of mine there, shipping price per container load is about $2000-$2500 , so let's say it can hold about 20 cabs, than
shipping price will be $200 or so per cab, instead of $800 per single cabinet.
as for cabinet prices, from what he told me, you can get a cab from $200 and up, depends on the cabinet condition and brand, of course if you want an atomiswave cabinet it will not cost $200 .
So, that is why I want to know what people want and what are you willing to pay,
to see if its doable, because unfortunatelly there is not a lot of resellers on the east cost, none that I know of

Im definatly interested. See if you can get a basic pricelist for decent shaped (not new) candies, since you are definatly within driving distance from my house.

Matsu's got a bunch of Astro City cabs available on hand at his warehouse,and since you're located in SoCal,this may be a better option for you. That way,you can just go over to his warehouse and pick out a nice one for yourself.

BTW,the Astro City cabs are $400 through Matsu.

Indeed,Matsu is the man when it comes to candy cabs.

The AW cab is really nice. It's got a multi-sync monitor which provides a super-clean picture for all three resolution modes.

If you're an AV nut such as myself,you can't go wrong with this baby.

sorry for being dumb, but who is Matsu? How much was the AW cab?

I am also interested depending on prices and able to pick up.

Is it possible to get one without a monitor?

well, I just got email from my friend there,
here is a list of prices to be expected:
astro city is about $180-$300
neo candy is about $300-$500
I can get Brand New atomiswave sd for about $1100 single player $1300 2 player (if purchased at the wholesale amount),
now capcom mini cute is hard to come by, so prices to be expected around $400-$600.
Please keep in mind that this is just a rough estimate, I'm sure I can get even better price if purchased in bulk from supplier per container load.
Also, make sure that you understand that shipping price is not included, which is approximately about $200 just to get it from Japan to US , so on the average I guess you will be looking to spend around $400-$600 per cabinet, if you are local to me.
I might be selling my own super neo 29 cab with 4 slot, cps2 ready before I will go, just to raise some extra funds, since I will be picking new cab anyway.
So let me know, if anybody interested.
