Defective SVC AES Cart?

Hi, i got a Aes SVC and found that the background and charater's graphic have corrupted with lines. However, the sound is fine.

Anyone know which C-rom has problem ? What should i do for that ?

did you clean the cartridge?

That's what my SS4 look like when it's either dirty or it wants to be re-inserted (mostly my 1slot that acts like that)

If one of the C roms were bad, it would look far worse on an encrypted cart because the graphic data is spread out over all C roms.

Most likely your cart port needs cleaned or the cart itself needs cleaned. If those are fine, then check the traces leading up to the big CMC chip on the cart's CHA board.

I have some very little glitches on a Samurai Shodown III AES cartrdige (brand new and totally cleaned several times)

These are tiny glitches in the background of one or two levels. (the "earthquake" level has black pixels in the background and the "stairs" level has the upper scrolling plane (which should be leaves) corrupted SOMETIMES. (maybe one time out of 10)

I wonder if some games might have little issues with some revisions of the AES motherboard...?

Have you looked at the solder joints on the roms to make sure they are all making proper contact? Most of the time, this is the problem with carts if cleaning doesn't solve the problem. I've only seen less than a handful of carts that actually had a bad rom.

i'm sure the cart and the slot are cleaned.No conjuntion on the contact. May be i need to open the cart to take a look and see the solder between roms doesn't merge together.

I just opened the cart and what i saw is like this:

Except for this small ic board, every connection is fine and no cross connection between solder.
anyway have an idea ?
