need help with service mode

i have a single slot mvs arcade system and every time that i put a game in the slot it goes right into service mode (crosshatch). when i bought the system i never recieved a manual or proprer training on how to use it. if someone could please help me figure out how to switch back into game mode i would appreciate it.

You should check out HardMVS, they will have the pcb manuals to get you started. Make sure you check out the PCB pictures to decide which model you have first, then download the respective manual.

The cart and/or socket connections are probably dirty, as Vectorman0 said, good info on how to fix that

no cart = x hatch,
dirty connections = the same.(or other issues)

dusting it off worked right away

Check dipswitch #1, if this is on then it will go to test mode @ startup
