I misplaced the keyset for my old Neo Candy 25" cabinet. Any ideas on how to remove the locks? Is there any otherways into these cabinets? (The control panel, front access door, and coin lock are all locked up)

Pretty much you need a hardened drill bit and drill it out... haven't done it myself, but that's the basic idea.

That's what I was thinking too. Doesn't sound like a lot of fun. :(

Can you get in from the back...?
...........if so,you can unbolt the front access door lock from the back of the doors side.

Look for screws. Tube locks have a nut on the end of them, so if you can get in behind them, and unthread that nut, you can simply pull the lock out (after taking off the locking tab thingy) There's almost always a way to get into cabs this way. I have never had a cab that I couldn't get anywhere in (one cab, I wasn't able to get into the coinbox, but if it where mine, I would have gotten in by taking it more apart ;)) The most common place for screws that can be removed fairly easilly is the marquee. Also, if the locks on your cab are more the conventional key, and not the round keys, you should learn how to pick the locks... it's not really that hard, it just takes practice to get it down. One of the most common missconceptions is that a flatblade screwdriver will fit in the lock, and if it fits in the lock, it will turn... that's completelly wrong (why else would other keys not work? duh :loco: ) All a screwdriver will do is ruin any chance you have of being able to pick the lock. Most locks can be picked with two paperclips (and alot of coordination).

surprisingly, the "try other keys" thing may be a good idea. I have two different cabs that were purchased from different sellers and both the door keys work on either...just not the coin box key.

Most cabs of the same type use the same keys. The only cab that I know of that has personalized locks is the AW egret3. There are probably others, but this is the only cab that I have personally seen with different locks.

Lock picking might be the the classiest way to solve the problem, but don't bother if you don't have any experience. You could drill out tons of those locks in the time it would take to learn lockpicking and get it open that way.

yeah, but lock picking is more fun ;)... and then you could also take the lock to a locksmith and have them make you a new key.
