6slot mvs dipswitch help

I have just aquired a six slot mvs cabinet but cannot find any info as to setting the dipswitches on the board, when I put in super sidekicks two for example it will not let me choose team or tournement, and certain characters are not selectable on some other games, think this may be down to dipswitch setting but not sure as new to neogeo ,I would be gratefull to anyone who could suggest any help, thanks,ray,,, the board is running in a dedicated cabinet.

remember that some of the soft dip setting options may be restricted depending on the region. This is determined by the bios.
