What's wrong with Seiricross? Once you get good at it it's lots of fun!

You forgot Thundercade, and 1943 should not be on the B list IMO.

Yeah, 1943 should be on the A list, and 1942 should be on the B list.

I almost forgot about Terra Cresta. That's a damn good shooter as well.

Gunsmoke is without question the best shooter on the NES, and has been one of my favorite NES games ever since I was little.

Can anyone else beat it without getting a Game Over?

Yeah, Gunsmoke on the NES is better than the arcade version.........

I used to play the shit out of it... I only recently realized that you can shoot forward by pressing both the A+B buttons together.

Most terrible music ever. Well actually, the title screen music is pretty nice, but during gameplay you hear 2 bars looping over and over and over x infinity

Yeah, the NES version is much better. It has tighter control, extra weapons, and it's much more fun!

Is the arcade version of Gunsmoke even possible to beat? I have tried many times, but I've never even come close.

The farthest I've gotten is to Pig Joe, but I can't beat him.

the arcade version is fucking insane. Of course it's possible to beat, I've watched replays of people who did it... but yeah, I don't think I ever made it past Pig Joe Dynamite either. The bosses' attacks are just so unpredictable.

Xevious is a good game. Fond of the broken glass style sound effects.

Has Anyone ever played RECCA???

I heard that it's as good as any Shump on the TG-16.

What sets this game apart from other NES shooters is, well, everything! Once you load it up, you'll find yourself thinking.. this is an NES game? Just imagine around 24 objects on the screen with no slowdown. Tons of enemies flying down, up and all over the screen. Huge bosses that take up most of the screen. Lots of weapons, and side gun pods.
