question about jp buttons vs the dc agetec stick's buttons

well ... my dc stuff is at my parents (200+ miles away) and i didn't use any of it in ages, which is why i don't remember and can't just go and have a closer look at it myself.

did they use real sanwa buttons for the agetec stick? i don't think so. sanwa buttons are a bit sturdier, right? just wanted to make sure, before i spend money on parts for a custom made stick.

also ... while talking agetec stick vs sanwa ...
do sanwa and seimitsu sticks feel as lose as the agetec's stick? i sure hope not.

Definitely not Sanwa You can compare this pic with the ones at himuragames. Sanwas sturdier? Difficult to say, I don't think it's a matter of sturdiness, I remember the agetec ones felt looser than Sanwas.

Don't expect them to be as tight as Neo old style sticks. They're better than the agetec stick but they do have quite some travel. In fact i know of someone who was disappointed by that very aspect and still prefers the Neo sticks.

Of course now the sanwa fanboys will come and tell you they're the best thing since sliced bread...

SANWAS ARE BETTER THAN AIR.

Now that I have that out of the way...

The Sega buttons are smaller than sanwas. That's about the only difference I can think of...

The Sanwa and Semitsu are much tighter than the DC sticks...
