Anyone tell me what type of connectors I need and where I may find em please?

I'm thinking that maybe these will be right as they look pretty similar, but I don't want to pay £5 in shipping for items costing £0.50p and they turn out to be wrong. If they are right I can get 10-way ones and cut off one of the "ways" to make them into 9 ways.
Here is a pic of the board, you can sort of make out which type of connectors it uses. They are at the bottom left corner.

Any help appreciated, but I'm in the UK and so will need to be able to have them shipped to me here. :)

The most important thing you have to check is the pitch of the on-board connectors. Measure the distance in millimeters between the 1st and the 9th pin and divide it by 8. Then look for a connector with a matching pitch.

Ok, thanks Michele. I'll try that out. I just found out that MVS credit LED/CPS1 Kick Harness connectors fit just right. I guess the pitch is right, but the connector is a different shape and so will not stay connected for long. I don't have a measure here with me so if anyone can tell me what the pitch is I can go about trying to find something suitable. I believe it to be 3.96mm, but I'd appreciate confirmation.

Ok, well I must admit that this has confused me some as everywhere else suggests that those connectors are 3.96mm pitch.

I was going to order two of these or two of these based on whatever the pitch really is. Am I right in guessing that 2.54mm wont fit 2.5m connectors? I'd really appreciate if anyone could steer me in the right direction in regards as to what I should order.

I can tell beyond the shadow of a doubt that the MVS credit LED/CPS1 kick harness connectors have a 2.5mm pitch, so if you saw that they match the pins on the WWF board, then 3.96 is definitely not correct. Too bad you don't have a metric ruler so you could see that yourself...

The more pins a connector has, the more the difference between a 2.5mm and a 2.54 pitch becomes a problem. With 9 pins the difference is 20mm vs 20.32mm, that is less than half a mm which is probably a neglectable difference.

Right, I feel much better now. I shall order two of the 2.54mm connectors and hope that they will suffice. Thanx for the help dude. Just one more thing though, how do I work out the difference? i.e the 20mm vs the 20.32mm? is it that the connector on the board measures 20mm and the harness connector measures 20.32mm?

Now is anyone able to sell me 20 suitable crimp terminals? The minimum I can order is 500, which is about 480 more than I need.

Just an idea: Maplin sells 2.54mm connectors that look suitable and the terminals are sold in strips of 10 each:

On a 9 pin connector the space between the 1st and the 9th pin is 20mm (2.5 * 8) if the pitch is 2.5mm and 20.32mm (2.54 * 8) if the pitch is 2.54mm. On a 20 pin connector it would be 47.5mm (2.5 * 19) vs 48.26mm (2.54 *19).

Glad to see the board got to you o.k. As for the connector, I believe you should be able to use a 0.100 molex female connector. I grabbed a second copy of the board and tried it on one of the molex connectors I have and it fit just fine. Good Luck.
