Hello everybody. I just got a candy cab recently. The buttons are pretty hammered. I don't konw what they are called, but they are things that hold the buttons and snap into the hole. When purchasing new snap in buttons, do they come with these pieces or is it just the actual button and that's it?

Any info is much appreciated.

I see. When determining the size of buttons you need, you measure the actual hole in the console, right?

You can measure the holes in the control panel, but there's basically only two types of buttons that will fit in a candy cab anyway: the small 24 mm ones for "start", and the bigger 30 mm ones for all the rest.

Edit: You can also substitute the 30 mm japanese buttons for western-style pushbuttons, like those sold by Happ Controls (even though the latter are only 28 mm in diameter), if you happen to prefer those.

Cool! Thanks for the advice. It's very helpful. I think I'm going to stick with the JP style buttons. Those feel pretty cool IMO. Thanks again for the help, I really appreciate it.
