LB2: FE on the DC is fantastic, a great conversion. I ran the DC version A/B with the Neo cart version, both systems using s-video, and the DC version was brighter and looked better.
Now granted, the game shows obvious pixellation due to its low resolution (probably 320x200), but thats just the way it was originally designed. Besides that, the music is a bit fuzzy, but again the Neo cart music is that way too, its the nature of cartridge music vs. CD music. In other words, they didn't remix or enhance the music, but that doesn't bother me in the least.
Gameplay is tight, animation is excellent, sound effects sharp, and the game is overall one of the best fighting games I have EVER played, on either platform (DC or Neo).
And finally, although GGX has much higher resolution, the animation leaves a lot to be desired. Its a good game, but I'll take LB2: FE over GGX anyday.
Basically, all this adds up to one thing: LB2: FE is probably the best SNK conversion to DC, to date, and one of the best SNK ports ever to any system.
As for Silent_Scope, I think that he just doesn't like the game, no matter what platform its on. So obviously the DC version would not be very exciting to him. I personally always felt that LB2 was one of the best fighters on the Neo (I love weapon-based fighters), and the DC conversion is an absolute gem for the system. Look beyond the low resolution and slightly distorted music, and you'll see a FANTASTIC port of a GREAT fighting game!
