aside from the excellent job one of the members here done in making a neo geo tabletop that is.
I just got my first cab (it needs some work on it, but the monitor etc is fine), and just looking at it I'm sure that with some hard work I could probably make a cab myself and have it look very decent. I have no clue though, but it looks like a case of making the right cuts and putting in the bolts. the wiring, if I can't do it, I may have someone else on board.
anyone got any home made cabs to show? what's the toughest aspect of it - and what are the general rules? because I would want to improvise in some areas, but not mess around with things that have to be the way they are (like the position of the monitor so outside light doesn't hinder visibility.
yes, I am excited.
