Hi, I was wondering where I could take my AES to mod it with S-video, Stereo audio, and bios?

(sorry for the question being so plain. I am a total newbie with this. I have just heard that it will make the system better with these mods on there. Thank You)

Hello and welcome to the forums!

First thing you should do is use the search facility and you'll probably find your answer in plenty of old threads.

But seeing as I'm such a nice guy, I'll tell you anyway ;) Jeff Kurtz is your best bet for modding your neo. He's a member of these forums. Just send him a pm.

I'm sure this is blasphemy, and it's probably pretty easy to add the stereo mod as long as you're in there modding it, but what if someone modded a system just for the video, and didn't bother putting the stereo jacks in? I suppose it really shouldn't matter, but doesn't the headphone jack already work fine for stereo sound, and it is more OEM to use it. If it would cost more to put in the stereo mod with it, I would say why bother with it.

The stereo mod is the same as the headphone jack, you just have the connectors in the back of the system, no improvement in terms of sound quality.

I modded my AES with Stereo, and yes it's easy. If you don't mind wires sticking out of your AES then those Audio connectors made for MP3 players would work fine. If you want S-Video or other video mods, I would recommend sending to someone. Go the the Neo Store to your left and you will find a tutorial if you want to do the mod yourself.

Yes, I've seen the tutorial (did my research before blaspheming!). The headphone jack is the way I always did it back in the day with an unmodded system. Still use the headphone jack on my consolized MVS to this day.
