This was sitting in my coin bank. :spock:

What ever it is it looks like a signal of some sort was meant to be passed through. Connector on right side has 5 pins, left side has 4. Nothing is labled well. Red tag says "SMART IND Sealed do not remove". E.T.S #321 on board. And that weird clear plastic box thing says "Potter and Brumfield RK-3013 12VDC"

Potter and Brumfield RK-3013 12VDC is a relay, some kind of a magnetic switch.

I am pretty sure my 2 slot has one...I will look in the morning, but I believe it controls which panel is lit up on the marquee when a game is selected.

MV-ELA LCD Circuit Board =controls which panel is lit up on the marquee when a game is selected.

As far as I know (topic Pic) is not a MV-ELA LCD Circuit Board that ..unless it's one I've never seen before.

Looks to be a coin mech drive pcb, the relays would drive solenoids in the mechanism, you often see validator boards near the coin mechs but a seperate drive pcb like this is unusual afaik.

Smart Ind? Google search for Smart Industries turned up:

http://www.smartind.com/

Smart Industries is one of the leading manufacturers of coin operated amusement machinery.

Looks like they mostly do skill stuff.

Try calling their tech support to find out what it is... 1.800.553.2442

I was leaning towards something to do with a slam switch myself, but hey.
