MK1 T-Unit - MK1 running on MK2 Hardware

I know this is already a known version, but it was interesting to be digging through a pile of boards the other day and out of the 20 or so MK1 boards the distributor had, I ran across one of the T-Unit MK1 boards. Up to that point I didn't know there was a version 4.0 of MK1 that ran on MK2 hardware.

Hmm I didn't know that T-Unit version of MK1 ran on MK2 hardware. Is it possible to run MK2 with just a rom swap (at least the version of MK2 without the memory expansion board)?
