NEO GEO AES POWER SUPPLY PROBLEM..HELP!!!

I was hoping that someone wold be so kind as to help me out here.
I need a power supply for My neo geo AES, so...... I notice Neo0geo.com store, has 2 power supplys available. English and Japanese, And I have NO idea on the region of my system, so i was wondering if anyone can teach me how to spot the difference so I can buy a corresponding power supply.

You need a Pro Pow 2 SNK powersupply for that system.
If I knew the specs of the Pro Pow 2 powersupply then I could tell you what type of powersupply you would need to get in order to use your AES.

Yeah you need the 9v power supply for that console. The earlier consoles used a 5v supply. I don't know why the neostore sells Japanese and US power supplies because as far as I know both Japanese and US consoles used both 5v and 9v supplies, depending on which revision motherboard it was.

I have a spare 9v supply that I want to sell, except I'm in the UK.

No, he needs a 5v PSU as Pro Pow 2 is the same as Pro Pow, so the "English" PSU at the Neostore will do for him.

Oh yeah! Oops my bad I must have been drunk when I wrote that!

So why do they call the 5v "english" and the 9v "Japanese"? Seems like they're trying to overcomplicate things.
