Haze Monitor Problem while playing?

My new old cab’s picture was crisp and clean and while playing it fluttered and the screen got brighter and looks like it has a green haze to the picture.

At first I thought the system need to just be degaussed but that did not seem to work unless the degausss button is malfunctioning. I also though it might be the 5v, but the voltage reads 4.98v.

I turned it off and let it sit and when it turns on it still has the problem.

So anyone have any ideas, I hope it doesn’t need a cap kit or new psu any help would be appreciated.

You might just need to adjust the screen brightness on the flyback(the large black/white part that has the focus adjustment). You may also need to turn down the green drive or bias on the neck PCB.

ME:..Just by reading that,I'm going to say to make sure the wire/plug that goes into the back of the Monitor yoke are in ok and straight...not coming off.

And the plug that goes from the jamma harness to the monitor chassis..I think it's a white plug with a Red,G..Black wire on it.
That may be loose or:
The wires to that may be loose in the jamma harness,cracking/splitting or loose..

It sounds like a loose wire/connection issue..

As always be carefull back there...

If it is your Neo19, no it doesn't have an active degaussing button. Supposedly the screen auto degauses on startup. That's as far as I can help you. My Neo19s monitor is dead right now too! If I have to get a new one, I'll let you know which one works well.
