My MVS's first player stick is getting kind of flaky so I want to swap them out for brand new sanwa ball tops. But I've never done it before. My machine is wooden but I believe the control panel is metal. I'm not too sure what type of sticks are in there and I can't check because I'm at college, but the connectors are cherrys. The sticks are the normal 8 way (possibly 8/4 I've never tried though) US style.
So what I want to know is, are the mounting plates generally a standard size? Will I have any wiring issues (IE needing an extra wire) switching over to the sanwas? A very basic pictured tutorial would help a lot if you know a link to one. Any other words of wizdom are appreciated. Thanks a lot.
