I hope he is alright. I bought a PC game from him awhile back (Battlefield 2) about begining of Sept. I sent him a check for the amount he wanted, I was leaving the next day on a short deployment and didn't have time to get another form of payment and he doesn't take Paypal.

Well in any case I still haven't seen the game yet. Last I heard something personal came up and that he hadn't even cashed my check yet (which he hasn't) and that he was going to try and have his wife send it out. Well that was well over a week ago and still no word from him.

To this date, no cashed check, no game and no replies (not even read yet) to any of my PM's to him. That is current PM's within last 1.5 weeks time.

I sincerely hope things are okay with him. I PM'd him stating that I can just put a stop on the check and could buy one locally, but hasn't even read the PM.

I have no hard feelings with him, none what-so-ever. However I really wanted this game and want to play it.

What should I do, should I just wait it out, or buy one locally or elsewhere and hope that things are good to go with him?

I have dealt with him before so I know he is not scamming me, heck like I said he hasn't even cashed my check yet.

Damn, what to do......

Yes, that's what I am thinking. Not sure if I should just go ahead and buy BF2 someplace else? My intentions are not to short Ghost, however you see where I am coming from right?

I just wanted to set the record straight so to speak, about my absence. Real world obligations took their toll, and I have been extremely busy, and as a result, I had to curb my online activities.

Regarding our deal GT40PWR, I apologize for how everything turned out. What ended up happening, is that I had the game listed on ebay when I posted it for sale here. When we had reached an agreement for the game, I was going to cancel the auction and send it to you before cashing your check.

Unfortunately, I came too close to the cutoff point and was unable to cancel the auction. Rather than ensure a negative feedback on the winning bidder's part, I sent him the game and resolved to keep our deal by purchasing a new copy and sending it to you. I could not locate a DVD version however, and that's about the time when things started getting hectic.

I sincerely apologize that our deal didn't go through as planned, and that's why I destroyed your check. I should have logged in and communicated better though, and that's my fault. I hope you can accept my apology.

I just wanted to make it clear that I didn't scam anyone or anything, just in case there were any misconceptions. I don't know how active I will be around here, but I at least wanted to get this posted at the very least.

Dude.. Dog - scamming people? come on. Impossible.

Regardless of what went on in the past (apparently he posted about this today) the guy is a badass to deal with. Everyone has problems at some point - but this guy even though he apparently had a problem with a sale (which, again - happens sometimes with everyone) he's come to rectify it.

You can trust Chuckers. He's cool.

Ghost, No apology needed buddy. I just saw this. It's no biggie. Glad you came through with some info. Hope things are okay with you and the family. Yeah, I went ahead and found another one since I never heard from you. Thanks for the effort.

EDIT: I never implied that Ghost was scamming at all. Just was wondering what happened to him. I could have canceled my check in a moments notice had I felt that Ghost or anyone for that fact was scamming me.
Again, Ghost, I hope things are good? Hit me up sometime if you have anything else for sale.
