I'm about to embark in a journey whose end will be a Naomi system in a pc case. As most of you know the Naomi outputs a high res VGA signal... For easy access to this connection I will need to run a small extention cable from the board output to the outside of the case.
Do you recommend that I use a small male to female extention cable and somehow mount that to the case.
Or, would it be ok for me to cut the extention cable down to the length I need and solder on a female connector? Do you think I would lose much picture quality/clarity by soldering on my own connector? Would I induce crosstalk?
