Neo Geo Pocket problem

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the place to go but after dropping my NGPC on the floor it just doesn't work the same. It was and accident so don't flame my ass. Anyways, the problem with it is that the internal clock doesn't function. For instance, if I put the time to 2 am it will stay on 2 am without changing forward. Another problem with my NGPC is that it consumes too much sub-battery and battery power, it runs out within 10 hrs of usage instead of the regular 40 hrs. My question is can it be fixed or do I have to buy another one. If it can be fix, can I have suggestions & pics on how I could fix be as detail as possible please.

The first thing you should do is to take it apart carefully and look for any cracked circuit boards, broken components, etc.

Maybe take some high quality pics of the boards so others can look at them?
