I would like to know, why is that in SS1, 2 & 3 US MVS carts doesn’t show up the blood. I have Unibios 2.0 and I set the soft dip to blood on and in lever 3 and nothing. I know that I have to wait in some games for a Game Over screen for the blood to shows up, but with these three games don’t work. The only way it shows the blood is if I set the country to Japanese, otherwise doesn’t show it :blow_top: . Some one can explain to me why or tell me how to do it? Thanks in advance. :help:

You need a unibios v2.1 to fix the blood in the early samSho games if you want to be in USA mode. For now you can simply play in Euro mode and then turn the blood on in the soft dips.

Hey Razoola, :) I have a uni-bios v1.1 inside my Consolized 2-slot MVS motherboard and I get the blood in Samurai Shodown 2,3 & 5 which is good. Metal Slug doesn't work in the soft dip menu, except the cheat menue the codes do work though. I put in 4-1 and 8-1 and in the first mission when you beat the 1st boss it doesn't change to the next mission and so I just go to the cheat menu by pressing Select & Start at the sametime and the cheats work fine. When I press A,B & C I can go to the splash screen or when I go to another menu by pressing to change to arcade mode that gives me free play, console mode (AES) & when I press B,C & D it takes me to another menu that lets me change the timer setting, lives and to turn the blood on by putting it to level 3 or 4. Anyways, my Select buttion won't let me switch between games on my 2-slot and I can't remember how to set it up to switch between games?. Do you know how to make my 2-slot switch between game?. Thanks!

I am sure Samurai Shodown 1,4 & Zero Special will have the blood in the games from my uni-bios v1.1 as well. :D

I'm almost certain that SSI and SSII have language settings on the options menu in AES mode...... If you select Japanese, blood displays.

I think you need to upgrade to a newer version of the bios.

Yeah I have been planning to get an upgrade. SamSho V does show blood in the game as well as SamSho II & III that I own on MVS. I have my MVS games set on free play which is really good to have. :) Should I get the uni-bios v2.0 or v2.1 upgrade?. I heard that the uni-bios v2.1 needs a test switch which I don't have and I might go for the uni-bios v.2.0 to put inside my consolized 2-slot. :) :D

Any suggestion's?. :)

I don't even think that you can get the 2.0 officialy....

You don't need a test switch.. That's just crazytalk.

Get v2.1, the test switch is only needed with one option. Simply don't enable that option.

How much does the Universe Bios v2.1 cost and does it come with instruction's?. It's a good thing that my consolized 2-slot MVS motherboard has a socket so that I can switch the v1.1 to a v2.1 chip. :D
