Does anyone have one of these?

Im just wondering if when you install it, does it power the moniter as well without any special wiring?

The site doesnt really explain the sound options too well. Would I be able to hook up my existing speakers? or would I need to put in some new ones with a seperate power supply (how would that work?)

Is hooking up extra buttons as easy as daisy chaining them and then just hooking up the wire to the screw pins on the jpac itself?

Is there a way to hook up light guns to this either?

Thinking about just doing my cab into a Mame one for my family to play since I cant really have it with me here, plus I have a supergun anway.

EDIT: and for a track ball would I need to get an opti-pac as well and hook it up too, or is there a way to get one hooked to a J-Pac alone?

I don't have one yet, but the power to the monitor isn't run through the Jamma Harness on any cab, it's seperately plugged into the power supply.

As far as I can tell you basically have to plug in a set of PC speakers or the like.

So I would have to have an actual arcade powersupply hooked to the moniter?

Im just counting the cords it would take, and if the speakers need a standalone power supply too, then were looking at 3 seperate power cords.

A power strip might work , but jeez.

Wait, this is for a Cab right?

If so, the monitor is powered through the power supply, if the cab is working now, then you don't need to worry about monitor power

You might need to power the speakes, though there has to be a way to get it to work with the cab speakers

Well I wanted to get rid of the old PS since its about 20 years old. So right now there is no Jamma or power supply in the cab.

So I would have to get an arcade power supply to the moniter for power. Damnit.

A new switching power supply will run everything. You can get it from happs. Also, take look at hardmvs.com. They show you how to set-up a power supply for a cab.
