What do you do when the ones with your games break? This is one thing I definitely hate about the older home carts, is those damnable trays. So flimsy and brittle.
Many of mine are cracked. I think that the cold does a number on them. Every cart I have has been mailed to me, and many of them were during the winter months. Sitting in the cold and then being tossed around during the shipping process destroys the plastic.
Most of my older games' trays I bought from EBAY are crack too. I used cement glue to repair the cracks. It does the job well, moreover, it is the outside I see anyways.

Every single cart I have is mint and crackless. I remembered when I trade Nam-75, Top Hunter, CyberLip and Roboarmy to my local video game store and they said "Why do you want to sell those new NEO carts?"
I know I was stupid at that time coz I traded those AES carts for CD version (I thought CD will last longer than cart, what the fuck............)
I've sold a lot of rare games and Neo Cart games in my life and I'm so regret......damn.
Silent_Scope im sorry for you what you did was kinda g** well you have to live whit it.Last year my cosin just spiled some grape juice on my neogeo and it broke and my KOF 96 cart that was in it fucked to i had to buy a new neogeo and a new KOF 96 cart
Oh man, Grape Juice! Before I had my neo, I used to have nightmares of my brother sneaking into my room pressing open on my Saturn and pouring soda inside! LOL. That reminds me...one time my brother played this prank on me. He asked if he and his friend could play Metal Slug on my Saturn...and then like an hour later he came down and said...your not gonna believe this but "I just cracked you Metal Slug in half!" Then I started puching the fuck out of him...but he was just kidding...stupid fuck!!!!!!LOL
Grape juice? My god........
Yeah yeah yeah, stupid is as stupid does. Every time I look at others' Neo collections and I just feel bad myself. Why I sold those AES carts and traded for CDs.......man. Same thing happened to my Pc Engine and N64. I sold N64 along with 10 games (one of them is brand new pre-ordered gold Zelda cart) for one DC fighting stick and PS memory card at Funcoland. I'm a fuckin fool..............
Back to the plastic tray, you can use transparent packing tapes to cover the cracked area, most of the broken spots are at the 4 corners where the weights of carts sit on.
